How to have a healthier diet that will lose weight faster with these 3 easy tips

Eating a healthy diet should be your number one priority if you want to lose weight and reduce your bulging belly. It is true, exercise is vital, but for lifelong weight management diet or rather healthy eating habits is king. I hope you'll be able to take some of these simple, yet effective ways to implement healthy changes in the way you eat on a daily basis for long term results.

1. You should try to at least eat some healthy fats in most of your meals. When you eat healthy fats it plays an important role in maintaining the proper fat burning and muscle building hormone levels in your body. Eating sufficient healthy fats in your diet every day also aides in keeping your appetite and cravings under control.
Some of the healthiest sources of dietary fats are raw nuts, seeds, egg yolks (which come from organic free range eggs), coconut oil (a great source of naturally healthy saturated fats in the form of medium chain triglycerides), avocados, extra virgin olive oil (contains the highest antioxidant content of all olive oils), and grass-fed meats (a great source of the healthy fat, conjugated linoleic acid that can help burn body fat and build muscle). As you can tell from the list these are some of the foods you are already eating you just need to modify where you're getting them from. For example, eating egg yolks from organic free range eggs and eating grass-fed meats as opposed to meats that are fed something else.

A tip to try -- eat a handful of raw nuts (pecans, walnuts, almonds are great healthy choices) 3 times a day about 30 minutes prior to meals. Eating the nuts before a meal can help to suppress your appetite as well as give your body some protein, fiber, and healthy fats so that you are able to eat less calories overall during your meals. You also get additional nutrition at the same time because most nuts have a high nutrient density. On top of that nuts are tasty and using this tip will help you lose weight faster!

2. You are then going to eat a high quality protein source with each meal and with each snack that you eat. You can get quality proteins from grass-fed meats, grass-fed raw dairy, and even from plant sources such as nuts and beans which as mentioned above provides good appetite suppression which you can control your calorie intake a lot easier.
If you're working out hard on a regular basis, getting ample quality proteins also helps you to build lean muscle in order for your metabolism to run at a higher rate as a result from the increased lean muscle on your body. In addition, if you eat a sufficient amount of protein during most of your meals it will also aid your body by controlling your blood sugar and insulin levels thus slowing the breakdown of ingested carbohydrates.
3. I do not fully agree with extremely low-carb diets but think that people should reduce the amount of carbohydrates that they eat. A major reason why a lot of people out there struggle in losing weight for most of their lives, like I have, is due to the fact of overeating processed carbohydrates which include refined grain-based starches and refined sugars. People also eat this on a daily basis more than a couple of times a day even.

A lot of people ask about the sugars in fruits. Whole fruits contain natural sugars and are ok to eat. The fiber in the fruits helps to slow the blood sugar response in your body. But you have to make sure to avoid fruit juices. Fruit juices are mostly sugar and have the fiber removed when processing the juice. A lot of fruit juices are sold in the grocery store. This will help you in making the right decision next time.

You will notice that when you start to minimize your grain consumption (from cereals, bagels, breads, pasta, etc), you will start to lose your body fat much easier. It is recommend for people to reduce eating grains and replace their carbohydrate intake on fruits and vegetables solely. Once you implement this one simple and effective step, it will usually help you mange your weight a little more easily and you will soon lose the weight that you've always wanted to do.

Once you incorporate these 3 simple steps into your daily routine you will experience more energy and will also start to see a leaner more healthier you.

Welcome to my bulging belly blog!!

I have struggled with a bulging belly for over 9 years after I had my first child. It seemed liked everything I ate just seemed to increase the bulge in my belly. I would do exercises here and there but it didn't result in much. I found myself having to buy bigger pants and even bigger shirts to cover my bulging belly!!

I was not happy with myself at all. I knew I had to change my eating habits but did not know where to start nor did I know what particular foods to look for or what particular exercises to do. Being a full time mother and working a 40 hour a week job I had little time already much less time to cook healthy foods. I thought that it was expensive to eat healthy and also time consuming so when I would go to the grocery store I usually got my regular foods that I was comfortable eating and also knew that the grocery bill was not going to be high.

As far as exercises went to reduce my bulging belly, I had enrolled in a Yoga class as I wanted to also find something to help reduce my stress levels. I was experiencing a lot of stress from work and also knew that stress was directly related to the extra weight on my belly so I thought Yoga would help. After a couple of months doing Yoga, it seemed to have helped me with my stress but I still had the bulge in my belly that I was trying so desperately to reduce. At this point I was hopeless and reverted back to my unhealthy eating habits and found myself even getting more bigger in my belly. It seemed like that was the only part of me that was getting bigger because if you looked at the rest of my body it looked like I was skinny. A lot of people would say that I was skinny and that I did not need to lose weight but I knew at the end of the day when I looked into the mirror I was not happy with what I saw.

Fast-forward to November of last year 2009, I found a really helpful guide in reducing my bulging belly. It has not only helped me in reducing my belly but also in maintaining it. The key lies in not only eating the right types of food but exercising on a consistent basis. It has taught me unique workouts, how to lose fat naturally, control my cravings for sweets, healthy meal plans and a ton of other information that I am committed to sharing with the rest of the world. This is very important information that everyone needs to know about in order to be more healthy and live a longer life. I've learned to take diet out of my vocabulary and also taught myself that living healthy is not temporary, it is a lifestyle change and something that I am incorporating for the rest of my life.

I hope the readers of this blog can get valuable information about removing their bulging belly like I did and that it will change their lives forever because it has truly changed mine. Please be open to the articles that I will post because they are going to be hard to digest especially about certain types of foods that we eat on a daily basis that are basically not good for us. You need to be educated about everything that you put into your body and this is the way that you are going to do that. Please feel free to comment and share your thoughts and/or ideas as this will only help other readers who may be going through the same thing.
